Pumpkin Petunia founder and designer Jo-Ann Coe was a math whiz from an early age, but unlike the average numbers nerd, Jo-Ann spent much of her free time in an art studio. She went on to Boston College, earning degrees in both mathematics and Fine and Studio Art and then on to earn a graduate degree in statistics. Jo-Ann began her career as a database developer balancing practical programming with interface and stylistic design elements. It was challenging work, but the creative part of her brain longed for freedom, inspiring Jo-Ann to go back to school for graphic design.
It wasn't until 10 years and three kids later that Jo-Ann let her creative side break free from numbers and code. By founding Pumpkin Petunia, Jo-Ann is able to use her technical skills in conjunction with her passion for art and eye for design. The results are distinct creations carefully thought out from both a technical and artistic viewpoint, resulting in superior design, color and symmetry. This unique approach allows us to customize each design to suit your needs and coordinate perfectly with your event, all at a stock stationery price.
